We believe that if you want to create big change you’d better bring as many as you can along with you! So for our inaugural fundraising art exhibition, we have planned an extravaganza of events for you!

Today is an exciting day. Not only are we hanging our exhibition on the walls of Neospace Gallery, we’re also officially publishing our events program. Read on to find out what's on, or click here to download a copy.

We’ll be hosting a series of diverse events at the gallery and in the surrounding streets during this exhibition's sixteen day stint. It’s our sincere hope that we’ve managed to put together a program that provides a little bit of inspiration for everyone because we want to support as many of you as possible to make herstory!

What’s on during the exhibition?

Secret date, secret location

Guerilla Mural

Often the most powerful change is subversive, appearing before your eyes when and where you least expect it. During the exhibition, the face of another trailblazing woman will be painted live by the indomitable 23rd Key, just a stone’s throw away from Neospace. Follow us on social media to find out when this is going down!

Wednesday 7 December

Led by the Director of the Victorian Women’s Trust, Mary Crooks AO, ‘Women in the picture’ is an evening of conversation focused on women’s representation and recognition (or lack thereof!) in art. Tickets $15 through Eventbrite include finger food and Impressed Juices.

Saturday 10 December

To close out the exhibition, we are partnering with Mother Tongue, Melbourne’s acclaimed women’s spoken word event, to bring you an afternoon of women’s stories. Fleassy Malay, creator of Mother Tongue, along with 2016 Australian Poetry Slam winner, Arielle Cottingham, head up a spectacular lineup of women who will move into our exhibition space for the afternoon, filling it with their powerful voices. Tickets $15/$12 through Eventbrite.
